Modigliani-Style Female Portrait Lithograph — Dated 1967
Mid-century modern female portrait in the elongated, melancholic vocabulary most associated with Amedeo Modigliani — long curved neck, bowed head, mask-like face — printed in muted greens, soft ochres, and chalky cream tones. The lithograph carries a heavily textured surface that mimics the look of transferred ink and worked fabric, giving the image a tactile, painterly presence rather than the flat finish of a standard print.
Signed in the plate lower right "M.S. Heib '67" (signature stylized, reading approximate). Presented in a slim silver-toned wood frame with a wide linen mat border that echoes the natural ground tone of the image.
CONDITION Good. The image presents well with strong tonal contrast and the textured surface fully intact. Light scuffing along the frame edges, and the paper dust cover on the verso is torn at the corners.
