Mongoose Mode 270 Freestyle BMX Bike with Mag Wheels & Pegs
Mongoose Mode 270 freestyle BMX in matte black, built around a 20.5" Hi-Ten steel top tube frame and rolling on the model's signature five-spoke molded mag wheels front and rear. Equipment includes ODI flangeless grips, Diatech brake levers, dual caliper hand brakes routed through a rotor-style gyro detangler for barspins, a tubular three-piece-style crank with single-speed drivetrain, four-bolt front-load stem, padded street saddle, and front and rear axle pegs for grinds.
Released in the 2010s as part of Mongoose's freestyle/park-oriented Mode lineup, the 270 was sold through mass retail as an entry-level rider with the heavy mag wheelset that defined the model's look.
CONDITION
Fair condition overall, presenting as a project-grade BMX that will need mechanical service before riding. Surface fading to the matte black frame finish, heavy rust and oxidation on the chain, sprocket, headset cups, and seat collar hardware, and a torn and scuffed Mode 270 top tube decal. Tires are weathered and require service or replacement; full tune-up recommended prior to use.
