Vintage Danish Teak Bookcase Cabinet with Two-Door Lower Storage
Tall freestanding bookcase in the Danish Modern idiom, executed in vintage teak veneer with solid teak trim at the front edges. The upper case presents two adjustable shelves above an open lower bay, while a two-door cupboard at the base conceals an additional adjustable shelf — a configuration consistent with Scandinavian modular casegoods of the 1970s–80s, often produced by Danish manufacturers such as Domino Møbler or Skovby ⚑. Turned wooden ball pulls and a clean rectilinear silhouette keep the piece quiet and serviceable.
Cable pass-through cut to the rear panel allows use as a media or audio cabinet. No visible maker's label or stamp located.
CONDITION
Good overall with a warm, even surface tone and the veneer presenting cleanly across all faces. Touched-up chip at the bottom edge and additional chips with touch-up along a top corner, plus light scratches and scuffs scattered across the case. Rear hardboard panel shows a cut access hole and minor edge wear.
