Brutalist Forged Steel Floor Candelabra, Three-Light Zigzag Form
Studio-made floor candelabra of welded steel and iron construction, rising over five feet on a weighted disc base. Three undulating zigzag rods rise from a central junction marked by a pair of welded steel spheres, each terminating in a flat bobeche fitted with a copper cuff to accommodate a .75" taper candle. The hand-forged silhouette and exposed weld points read as one-of-a-kind artisan metalwork, unsigned and unmarked.
CONDITION
Good overall with the structural integrity sound and the piece standing securely on its base. Surface shows oxidation, finish wear, and paint loss to the base, with light scratching consistent with display use.
