Teak 3-Drawer Chest Pair, Danish Modern Sculpted Pulls, Plinth Base
Matched pair of three-drawer chests in the Danish modern idiom, each with wrapped teak veneer over a composite core, mitered top edges, and a recessed plinth base. Sculpted solid teak pulls — the elongated, tapered "bone" form associated with Scandinavian production — anchor each drawer front. Drawers ride on metal ball-bearing slides over light-toned secondary wood interiors, giving smooth full-extension travel. Both cases photograph as a cohesive set with closely matched tone and grain.
Lot includes both chests as shown.
CONDITION Very Good. Both cases present clean, cohesive surfaces with intact pulls and smoothly operating drawers throughout. Light scratching and scuffing are present consistent with age and use; one chest shows a previous repair to a drawer interior, chips along the lower plinth area, and visible touch-ups in finished areas.
