Danish Teak Nightstand Pair — 2-Drawer, Mid-Century Modern
A matched pair of Danish mid-century modern nightstands in teak veneer over a solid case, raised on tapered round-section legs in a lighter secondary wood. Each cabinet carries two full-width drawers with sculpted integrated pulls — a shallow wave form carved directly into the drawer face, requiring no applied hardware. The teak grain is active and well-matched across both cases, with the warm amber tone characteristic of 1960s Scandinavian production. Drawer interiors are unfinished secondary wood with clean dovetail corner joinery. A "Made in Denmark" stamp appears on the underside of each case.
This lot sells as a matched pair.
CONDITION
Good. Both cases are solid with no structural issues and no remarkable damage. Minor scuffs and light surface scratches consistent with age and use are present on the cases and leg bases.
