Hand-Knotted Wool Area Rug with Central Medallion, 8' x 10'
Large hand-knotted wool area rug featuring a deep crimson field anchored by a stylized ivory medallion with branching tree motifs and a stepped polychrome center. Olive-green inner border bands carry geometric scrollwork and totemic figures, framed by a wider gold border populated with cruciform cartouches, hooked devices, and tribal pictographs in muted blues, ochres, and black.
Palette balances oxidized red, sage, mustard, and cream with accent notes of slate blue and rust. Cotton fringe at both ends; flatweave construction throughout.
CONDITION
