Hollywood Regency Ebonized & Gilt Iron Cocktail Table, Beveled Glass Top
Substantial rectangular cocktail table in the Neoclassical Revival / Hollywood Regency idiom, drawing on Italian Florentine and French Directoire iron furniture traditions. The hand-wrought iron frame is finished in ebonized black with gilt highlights along the serpentine aprons, double H-stretcher base, and ball finials at each corner. Eight turned baluster legs are paired with barley-twist corner supports, lending sculptural depth to the long 58¼" silhouette.
The shaped beveled glass top is removable and conforms to the curved frame. Construction is consistent with decorator-trade work by makers such as Niermann Weeks, Maitland-Smith, or Dennis & Leen ⚑, though no maker's label was located.
CONDITION
Good overall with attractive aged patina to the two-tone finish. Some gentle scuffs to edges of the gilt aprons and minor rubbing at high points; no remarkable damage. Beveled glass top is intact with no chips noted along the shaped edge.
