Bruneau Jasper Rough Specimen with Orbicular Patterning, Idaho
A substantial rough specimen of Bruneau jasper from the Bruneau Canyon region of southwestern Idaho, exhibiting the rich oxblood, butterscotch, cream, and pale pink tones the locality is prized for. Concentric orbs, fortification banding, and fluid swirls run across multiple faces, with several well-defined egg-shaped orbicular formations visible in cross-section. Natural fracture surfaces reveal the full depth of the patterning, making this a strong display piece or premium lapidary cutting candidate.
CONDITION
Good overall. Surface scuffing and minor scratches present as shown across several faces, consistent with handling and storage. Natural fracture edges throughout; no stabilization observed.
