Description

Mexican Pine 2-Piece Hutch Buffet — Forged Iron Hardware

A substantial two-piece hutch and buffet crafted from solid knotty pine — Mexican workshop production from the late 20th century. The upper hutch features twin glass-panel doors enclosing two fixed shelves with a solid wood panel back, three small drawers with raised molding, and an open display shelf below. The lower buffet carries two full-width drawers over a pair of paneled cabinet doors enclosing a divided interior. Cast iron hardware in a fleur-de-lis and arrow-head profile appears throughout — hinges, pulls, and corner brackets all matching — giving the piece its hacienda character. Pine grain is rich and varied, with prominent knots throughout.

The hutch and buffet separate for moving and can be used together or independently.

CONDITION

Excellent. Both pieces present with warm, even patina and no meaningful damage. Minor surface wear consistent with normal use; nothing warranting repair.
