Murano Art Glass Centerpiece Bowl — Aqua, Aventurine, Biomorphic

A large-scale Murano art glass centerpiece of immediate visual force, this freeform bowl is built around a vivid aqua-blue field saturated with silver and bronze aventurine inclusions that shift and scatter light at every angle. The form is organic and horizontal — softly scalloped lobes at each corner, two flanking oval depressions, and a deep central well that descends through a ring of dense bronze-gold aventurine into a saturated cobalt interior, terminating at a raised pontil dome. The underside is polished flat, deepening the teal-to-navy color shift visible through the base.

At nearly 21 inches across and weighing over nine pounds, this is a commanding table centerpiece or mantel anchor. Unmarked, consistent with Murano production pieces distributed through design channels rather than signed studio editions.

CONDITION

Good. The bowl is structurally sound with no chips, cracks, or losses to the body or rim. Shelf wear is present on the polished base — light surface scratching consistent with display use. The raised central dome shows minor surface scratching visible under direct light, as shown in the supplemental reference image.
