Colonial Revival king-size four-poster bed by Bassett, made in the USA. Crafted from a combination of solid wood and veneers, likely maple, this piece reflects classic Early American styling with turned posts, four removable finials, and a gracefully arched headboard with central crest detail. Brass-accented rail hardware adds a subtle decorative element, consistent with Bassett’s mid-century production.

Interior stencil markings (including “1958”) indicate a Bassett model/series number rather than a production date, likely tying the bed to one of their popular mid-20th century bedroom suites. The design draws inspiration from traditional 18th-century American forms, adapted for everyday use.
