Vintage Meadowcraft Dogwood Wrought Iron Rocker Patio Set 6 Pc
Meadowcraft's Dogwood pattern is one of the most recognized designs in American wrought iron outdoor furniture — a filigree floral motif the Alabama manufacturer has produced continuously for over half a century, originally inspired by the gardens its furniture was built to furnish. This cream-white painted set represents the pattern at its most complete: a 48" round dining table with expanded steel mesh top and umbrella-hole center on four swept legs with ball feet, four matching spring-base rocking armchairs with mesh seats and fan-shaped backs crested with Dogwood's signature cast blossom-and-branch appliqués, and a small round side table on tripod legs with lower stretcher ring. Meadowcraft's welded iron construction — not bolted — gives each piece the structural integrity the brand built its reputation on across decades of domestic production in Wadley, Alabama.
The lot includes 8 Modern Multi Stripe rectangular cushions in a bold multi-stripe pattern — coral, navy, teal, gold, red, and white on a cream ground — with teal fabric tie straps. Cushions are newer replacements, not original to the ironwork.
CONDITION
Good. All six iron pieces are structurally sound; the cream paint is faded overall and shows light oxidation at the chair and table feet. The 8 cushions present in Excellent condition — fabric vibrant, seams intact, no visible soiling.
