Cold-Cast Bronze Prancing Horse Sculpture — Wildwood Accents
This horse is moving. Foreleg raised, neck arched, mouth open — the sculpture catches a split second of raw forward energy and holds it. The musculature is fully realized: shoulder tension, hip engagement, the fine-boned lower legs that make a horse look like it defies its own weight. Cold-cast bronze body in deep chestnut, with verde patina worked into the mane, flowing tail, and textured base terrain. The two-tone finish lands squarely in the Western bronze tradition — the same palette that defines a century of American equestrian sculpture. Mounted on a black lacquered oval plinth, it arrives ready to place.
There's a mantel, a console, a corner credenza somewhere that has been waiting for exactly this.
CONDITION
Very Good. Finish is vibrant and intact with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Surface texture variation on the body is inherent to the cold-cast process.
