A solidly built bar cart in solid rosewood, finished in a deep cherry lacquer and executed in the traditional English Regency style. The double drop-leaf top extends to a full rectangular serving surface with a raised inset panel and brass pin hardware; folded, both semicircular leaves hang flush for a compact footprint. Four turned legs support both tiers, with a generous lower shelf for open storage and a fitted bottle caddy accommodating three bottles. Two large 14" spoke wheels at the rear — each with six turned spindles and a decorative hub — are paired with two small swivel casters at the front for full maneuverability.

The Regency tea trolley form — spoke wheels, turned legs, scrolled volute push handle — traces to Victorian England, where wheeled serving carts were standard entertaining furniture before the form was revived in solid hardwoods for the American home bar market through the late 20th century. The solid rosewood construction, a premium dense-grained tropical hardwood prized for its depth of color and tight figure, distinguishes this piece from the mahogany veneer equivalents that dominate this category.

CONDITION Very Good. The cart is sturdy with no structural compromise to the frame or shelves, and the finish retains strong depth and gloss across the body. Scattered light scratches and scuffing are present on the surface; one large wheel shows a pronounced band of finish crazing along the outer rim, and the hub center on that same wheel is missing its decorative cap plug.
