Foxhunt Oil on Canvas — Signed Robinson, Ornate Carved Frame
A large-format oil on stretched canvas capturing a foxhunt at full momentum — a scarlet-coated rider on a bright chestnut surges forward as a pack of English foxhounds breaks across the foreground in full cry, each hound individually rendered at the gallop. A second rider crests the hill behind, deepening the scene and placing the viewer inside the field, not watching from the edge. The composition is wide and expansive: open rolling countryside, a luminous sky with building clouds, warm greens and golds carried across the canvas with genuine confidence. Signed lower right "Robinson."
