Reclaimed Fence Post Demilune Console — Wall Mount, Solid Wood
A demilune console table built entirely from recycled fence posts, with construction details that make the material's prior life part of the design. The stave-built cylindrical pedestal retains its original through-mortises — the rectangular voids where fence rails once passed — now reading as architectural negative space in the base. The 2" thick half-round top is cut from the same reclaimed stock, displaying knots, end-grain growth rings, and the tonal variation that comes with wood weathered before it was ever brought indoors. No two examples are identical.
Hardware includes an adjustable rubber leveling knob at the column base and wall-mount provisions for foyer, hallway, or entry placement.
CONDITION
Good. Scuffing and surface weathering are present on both top and pedestal and are consistent with the reclaimed-material character of the piece.
