Hooker Seven Seas Corner Cabinet Hutch — Sunburst Arch, Oxblood Interior

A two-piece corner cabinet from Hooker Furniture's Seven Seas collection, finished in heavily distressed ebonized charcoal with bronze dry-brush highlights throughout the moldings, cornice, and reeded pilasters. The upper hutch centers on a deep arched niche crowned by a carved sunburst radiating from a half-round central finial, framed by a dentil-detailed cornice above and three adjustable curved display shelves with turned bamboo-form edge molding below. One affixed shelf sits at the base of the niche; the oxblood red interior is finished throughout, with gold-incised scrollwork decorating the spandrel panels flanking the arch.

The lower cabinet carries that same painted scrollwork across two arched raised-panel doors fitted with paired antiqued brass bail handles, with one interior shelf and integrated cord routing. The Seven Seas medallion label and model number 500-50-480 are marked on the back panel.

CONDITION

Good overall, with the distressed finish carrying throughout front-facing surfaces consistently. Expect scattered scratches, scuffing, finish wear and fading across the case, poor touch-up visible in multiple locations, and light indentations. The top of the upper case has a repair - visible only from the rear.
