Set of 6 Sterling Silver Bread Plates Gadroon Border — 111.59g
Six matching sterling silver bread plates, each featuring a fully worked gadroon rope-twist border and a smooth polished well. The reverse of each plate carries a double-cartouche maker's mark — one panel bearing a letter, the second a figural stamp — alongside "STERLING" and the designation "21G," consistent with American sterling production.
This lot includes all six plates sold together.
CONDITION Good. The gadroon borders retain strong definition and the silver remains bright overall. Light surface scratching is present across the interior wells of multiple plates, and tarnish is present throughout — polishing recommended.
