Seiko QQZ885A World Time Desk Clock — Airplane Second Hand, Brass, 1980s Japan
A 1980s Seiko quartz desk clock built around a sweep second hand shaped as an airplane silhouette — it completes a full circuit of the globe every minute. The black dial carries a gold-tone raised continent map at center, with a rotating 24-hour inner bezel and outer city ring displaying ~40 major international cities from Honolulu to Sydney, GMT and Date Line marked. Movement is Seikosha Cal. 22005 with a rear city-adjustment knob.
The satin brass-tone rectangular case mounts the dial on a transparent support — it appears to float between smoked glass panels front and back. Four corner column pillars, decorative top finials, and ball feet complete the case. Takes one C cell, not included.
CONDITION Excellent. Fully functional and tested. A couple of very minor scuffs visible only under close inspection.
