84" Antiqued Gold Craquelure Beveled Wall Mirror — Overmantle Scale

A large-format wall mirror by Windsor Art & Mirror Co., a California-based manufacturer of decorative wall accessories, bearing the original maker's label on verso with model number M21481001. The wide, flat-profile composite frame carries a gold craquelure surface finish — an intentional treatment that reveals darker undertones through a network of fine surface fractures — with a continuous beaded inner molding and cast leaf accents at each corner. The beveled mirror glass, ground to a substantial 3/4" bevel, sits within a white liner that separates it cleanly from the frame. Hardware is mounted for hanging in either vertical or horizontal orientation, making it equally suited to a foyer, over a fireplace mantle, or above a dining room sideboard.

Comparable mirrors at this scale — thick beveled glass, ornate gilt frame, nearly seven feet tall — retail for $1,200 to $2,500 on decorator platforms when available. Windsor Art is no longer in production.

CONDITION

Good. The 3/4" beveled glass is clear with no delamination or spotting, and the frame is structurally intact with no broken molding elements. Several areas along the frame surface show deeper color loss and darkening consistent with age; the craquelure pattern itself is intentional by design.
