5¢ Candy Bar Vending Machine Model A — Wall Mount, Tested Functional

Tower-format 5-cent candy bar vending machine in hammered copper-toned painted steel, with blue painted cast metal trim on the display window surround, dispenser knob, and delivery tray. "CANDY" appears vertically in raised red lettering on both front faces flanking a mirrored viewing panel displaying period miniature candy bar placards — Hershey, Krackle, and Mr. Goodbar. A 5¢ coin slot mechanism sits directly below the display with a round lock cylinder and blue-trimmed dispensing tray at the base. The unit is wall-mountable and accepts items up to ½"H × 2"W × 5½"D.

The interior houses a multi-rail aluminum candy-stacking mechanism with a fan-shaped upper bracket and spring-loaded selector assembly. A stamped service label affixed to the mechanism reads "On Repairs Specify Model No. A."

CONDITION Good. Mechanism tested and functions with 5¢ coins. The hammered copper exterior shows age-appropriate wear throughout with scattered scuffs and minor paint loss at edges and seams; blue trim pieces show moderate chipping and flaking. The mirrored front panel is cracked.
