Sphinx 100% Wool Rug — National Geographic Marrakech 5'3"x7'9"
A machine-made area rug from the National Geographic Home Collection by Sphinx/Oriental Weavers, in the "Marrakech" pattern. Constructed of 100% wool pile (Woolmark certified) and manufactured in Egypt under ISO 9001 certification, the rug features a repeating Kazak-style geometric medallion design on a deep red field with gold, cream, dark brown, and slate blue accents. The multi-band border carries stacked geometric and foliate motifs consistent with North African and Caucasian design traditions. Copyright date on label reads 2004.
