Description

McMillan's Handcrafted End Table, Drawer — Solid Wood, Ruidoso NM Maker Marked

Solid end table handcrafted by Dennis McMillan of McMillan's Fine Handcrafted Furniture in Ruidoso, New Mexico — a named-maker studio known for Western and Southwestern solid-wood pieces. The top carries a warm amber finish with a rounded bullnose edge profile; the apron panels display pronounced grain figure and burl-like character consistent with the knotty woods McMillan favors. A single drawer rides on medium-duty rails and is fitted with a wrought iron pull. The back is fully finished on all four sides. The maker's signature round metal medallion is set flush into the corner of the tabletop.

McMillan's marketed their work as "Building the Antique Roadshow Treasures of Tomorrow" — the maker's brochure is included in this lot.

CONDITION Good. The piece is sturdy with solid joinery and a smoothly operating drawer. A 2" area of finish wear and loss is present on the tabletop surface, and light adhesive ghosting is visible near the top center consistent with a removed label.
