Carved Mango Wood Sideboard — Diamond Doors, Sunburst Rosette Pulls

This solid mango wood sideboard is built entirely by hand in the traditional Rajasthani carving style — every surface that faces you is carved. The two cabinet doors are covered in dense diamond pyramid chip carving, a pattern of hundreds of individual cuts that catches light differently depending on angle and time of day. Rope-twist molding frames the doors, apron, and stiles, while the two drawer fronts carry sunburst rosette medallions centered with wrought iron ring pulls. The top and back show the wide, swirling grain that distinguishes mango wood from more common hardwoods — warm honey tones with natural figure variation throughout.

Each cabinet conceals a fixed shelf with 13½" of clearance, and each drawer runs the full half-width of the case — functional storage behind a surface that earns its place in any eclectic, global, or Southwest-influenced interior.

CONDITION
Good. The carving is crisp and deeply cut throughout, with solid structure and no wobble. One door panel has a through-crack running diagonally across its diamond-carved field, and a short section of rope-twist molding along the lower front apron is broken away with tape residue at the repair site. Minor surface scuffs and a small chip near the center bottom rail.
