Belleek Shamrock Parian China Tea Set 1946–55 — 4 Cups, 4 Saucers, Plate
This nine-piece partial tea service is Belleek parian porcelain in the Shamrock pattern, produced in Fermanagh, Ireland. The cups feature the twisted basket-weave body with hand-applied shamrock sprigs and characteristic scalloped rim; the saucers and large cake plate carry matching relief molding and applied shamrock decoration across an ivory-cream ground. The green backstamp — identical in design to the preceding black Third Period mark but changed to green in 1946 — includes "Reg. No. 0857," placing production squarely within the Fourth Period: 1946 to 1955.
The lot includes four teacups, four matching saucers, and one large cake or dessert plate.
CONDITION Excellent. No chips, cracks, or damage observed across all nine pieces. Glaze and applied shamrock decoration are vivid and intact throughout.
