Don Stivers "Arrival at Fort Leavenworth 1882" Ltd Ed Lithograph 343/1000

The composition centers on a cavalry officer driving his wife and child by carriage from the docked steamboat Leavenworth, while mule-drawn covered supply wagons, mounted teamsters, and foot soldiers crowd the foreground. Stivers's characteristic period accuracy carries through every detail — uniform insignia, harness hardware, Victorian dress, and frontier stonework — rendered in warm, painterly color. Good. Print colors are vivid and the paper surface shows no foxing, browning, or visible fading. Scuffs to the outer frame molding; no other remarkable damage.
