Ekornes Stressless Reno Large (L) Leather Recliner & Ottoman — Norway

Stressless Reno recliner and matching ottoman by J.E. Ekornes A/S of Norway, Large (L) on the Classic circular wood base, manufactured April 2009 per the original Ekornes production label still affixed to the chair. The Reno is distinguished by its oversized back over-pads, which extend forward to cradle the elbows during reading or use, and its height-adjustable neck support, which raises or lowers up to four inches to accommodate different users. The chair operates on Ekornes' proprietary Plus™ self-adjusting recline system, which responds automatically to the sitter's weight and movement — no levers, no manual adjustment. The base swivels 360 degrees on the Classic ring design in warm honey-toned wood.

Upholstery throughout is chocolate brown leather covering the seat, segmented backrest, arms, and ottoman cushion. The ottoman rides on a matching S-curve bentwood base with casters. CONDITION

Good. No holes or tears; locking and recline mechanisms operate as designed with no remarkable damage. Leather shows signs of normal wear from everyday use including surface scratching at the seat/base junction, color variation and light patching to the back panel, and fading to the arm surfaces.
