Cast Stone Gargoyle Garden Figures, Pair — Verdigris Patina, Matched Se
A matched pair of cast stone gargoyle garden figures, each depicting a winged grotesque seated in a lotus meditation pose — hands in mudra position, eyes closed, with a subtle upward smile. Pointed ears, a feline snout, and bat-like wings folded behind the shoulders define the form. The heavily textured cast stone body carries an applied verdigris patina ranging from earthy ochre to mottled green across both figures.This lot includes all four figures: two upright gargoyles and two meditating gargoyles.
CONDITION Good. All four figures display consistent weathering and aged patina appropriate to outdoor garden statuary. White mineral efflorescence is present on the bases and lower body surfaces of multiple figures, and one upright figure shows a small surface loss near the muzzle.
