Jan Barboglio Hammered Copper Charger 14" — Beaded Rim, Hecho en Mexico
A Jan Barboglio hammered copper charger featuring a wide, continuous raised beaded border and a shallow recessed well. Jan Barboglio is a Dallas-based luxury design house whose copper and iron pieces are hand-fabricated by skilled artisans in Mexico, blending Old World craft with a distinctly Spanish Colonial aesthetic — each piece shaped, textured, and finished by hand, ensuring no two are identical. This charger bears both the Jan Barboglio Bogotá retailer stamp and a "Hecho en Mexico" origin mark struck into the reverse rim, confirming its artisan provenance. The warm reddish-brown patina with dark oxidation pooling in the low points is wholly intentional — Barboglio's signature finish, developed over time to deepen in character with age.
CONDITION Good. Patina is rich and even across the face, with oxidation consistent with hand-worked copper. Light surface texture variation present across the central well; no cracks, dents, or structural damage.
