1966–67 Alaska Centennial License Plate — “North to the Future” TK12034
Issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the 1867 Alaska Purchase, this authentic 1966–67 Alaska Centennial license plate features embossed yellow lettering on a deep blue background with the state’s motto, “North to the Future.” The plate reads TK12034 and bears the “66” year tab at upper right. Produced for just two years, this special edition marked the first use of Alaska’s now-official motto and replaced the usual state flag emblem with a bold centennial design.
Highly collectible among automobilia and Americana enthusiasts, these limited-issue plates celebrate Alaska’s transition from territory to statehood and its proud centennial heritage. An attractive display piece for vintage décor or plate collectors alike.
Condition
In very good condition overall, showing minor edge wear and small paint chips consistent with age. Colors remain vivid with strong embossing and no major dents or corrosion.
Dimensions
Approx. 12 x 6 inches (standard U.S. license plate size).
