Victorian Hand-Carved Walnut Armchair – Upholstered Seat & Back, Front Casters
Elegant late 19th-century Victorian armchair crafted from solid wood, richly hand-carved with classical motifs along the crest, arms, and legs. The chair features upholstered seat and back panels in a blue and gold diamond-patterned jacquard, finished with decorative trim. Front legs are fitted with two wood casters for mobility, while the rear legs remain stationary for stability. A fine example of period craftsmanship, ideal for restoration or display in a traditional interior.
Condition:
Good overall condition and fully functional. Tested and stable, with age-appropriate scuffing and surface wear. Upholstery shows notable wear and fraying to the seat and would benefit from replacement; some spring work recommended.
