Description

Howard Miller Earnest 620-433 Wall Clock – Westminster Chime, Key-Wound

The Howard Miller “Earnest” model 620-433 is a finely crafted key-wound wall clock that exemplifies the maker’s tradition of quality and timeless design. Finished in lightly distressed Hampton Cherry on select hardwoods and veneers, the case features carved acanthus leaf molding along the pediment and olive ash burl overlays framing the dial. A polished brass pendulum swings against a decorative burl back panel with an ornate beat plate.

The off-white dial displays Roman numerals, an intricate center medallion, and filigree-style hands. Powered by a precision German-made mechanical movement, the clock chimes the Westminster melody on each quarter-hour and strikes the hour, with a chime-silence lever for quiet operation. Pleasant in tone, easy to run, and includes its original winding key. A distinguished, collector-grade example of Howard Miller craftsmanship—ideal for home, office, or study décor.

Condition

Very good condition overall with minor surface wear consistent with age. Wood finish retains a rich cherry tone and satin sheen. Brass and glass components remain bright and clear. Clock runs smoothly and chimes with a clear, resonant tone. Includes original winding key.
