Dixie by Lexington French Provincial Dresser & Mirror, Cream Finish
Vintage Dixie by Lexington French Provincial double dresser with matching mirror, circa 1960s–1970s. Maker-marked and factory-stenciled, this elegant piece features a painted cream finish with pale blue trim, laminate top, and decorative brass hardware. The dresser includes six dovetail drawers offering generous storage. The arched mirror, styled with molded trim and a carved crest, can be mounted to the dresser or hung on a wall for versatility.
A fine example of mid-century American craftsmanship inspired by French Provincial design, produced by Lexington Furniture Industries under their Dixie label in Lenoir, North Carolina.
Condition
Fair overall condition with visible wear consistent with age and use. Surfaces display scratching, scuffing, finish wear and paint loss throughout. Minor edge wear and marks to laminate top. Structurally stable, drawers glide properly, and mirror is intact.
