Dixie by Lexington French Provincial Headboard & Nightstand Set

Vintage Dixie by Lexington French Provincial headboard and matching nightstand, circa 1960s–1970s. Maker-marked “Lexington Furniture Industries by Dixie.”
Each piece is finished in cream with pale blue accent detailing and features a durable laminate top, decorative carved appliqués, and brass hardware typical of the period’s Provincial styling.

The headboard, fitting queen or full-size frames, features an arched crest rail with turned spindles and geometric panel detailing.
The nightstand (model 340-21 “Commode”) includes two dovetail drawers with original brass handles and rests on turned French-style legs.

Together, they represent Lexington’s quality American craftsmanship and elegant mid-century interpretation of European Provincial design.

Condition

Good overall vintage condition with typical wear consistent with age and use. Exhibits finish wear and paint loss throughout, small chip to front left corner of the nightstand top, and paint chipping along top rim. Structurally sturdy and stable with drawers functioning properly.
