Aldo Luongo “Today As I Remember” Lithograph 213/275 – Framed

Limited edition lithograph by Aldo Luongo (Argentine, b. 1941) titled Today As I Remember. Hand-signed in pencil lower right and numbered 213/275 lower left, with a blind stamp in the margin. The composition presents a solitary standing figure beneath the softly rendered image of a reclining woman, depicted in Luongo’s signature gestural black-and-white strokes that suggest longing and memory.

Printed on fine wove paper and housed behind glass in a wood frame with double matting. The verso retains a gallery label from Galeria de las Artes, Old Mesilla, New Mexico. A quintessential work from Luongo’s early period, capturing the emotional depth and movement for which he is renowned.

Artist Biography

Aldo Luongo (b. 1941, Buenos Aires, Argentina)
Aldo Luongo is an internationally recognized contemporary figurative artist celebrated for his expressive, emotionally charged imagery. After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires, Luongo pursued professional soccer before turning to painting full-time in the late 1960s. His distinctive black-and-white sketches and richly hued paintings combine impressionistic energy with themes of romance, nostalgia, and the passage of time.

Luongo’s work has been exhibited in galleries throughout the United States and abroad, and he has been honored as an Official Olympic Artist for the 1988, 1996, and 2002 Olympic Games. He was also named Sports Artist of the Year by the United States Sports Academy. Today, his paintings and limited-edition prints remain highly collected for their dynamic lines and poetic sensibility.

An evocative and classic Aldo Luongo limited edition lithograph, beautifully presented and signed by the artist. Today As I Remember exemplifies Luongo’s mastery of expressive draftsmanship and human emotion—an excellent addition to any fine art or contemporary print collection.
