Cat Stevens Greatest Hits LP (1975, A&M SP-4519) — CRC Edition, Folk Rock Classic

Original 1975 U.S. pressing of Cat Stevens’ Greatest Hits on A&M Records (catalog no. SP-4519), Columbia Record Club edition. This compilation captures Stevens’ defining era of folk-rock artistry, featuring timeless tracks including Wild World, Father & Son, Peace Train, Morning Has Broken, and Moonshadow. Produced by Paul Samwell-Smith and Cat Stevens, this release reached No. 6 on the Billboard 200 and remains one of the most recognizable albums of the decade.

Issued with the signature tan A&M label bearing the tiger illustration and housed in Michael Foreman’s iconic portrait-flag artwork, this CRC variant reflects a U.S. club distribution with the “CRC” logo on the back jacket. A must-have for fans of the singer-songwriter era or collectors of A&M’s 1970s catalog.

Condition:

Graded Good (G) overall. Jacket shows moderate ring wear, edge rubbing, and corner wear; CRC sticker remains intact. Vinyl displays multiple surface scuffs and light-to-moderate scratches on both sides (see close-ups), which may produce background noise or ticks during playback. Labels are clean and fully legible. Includes plain inner sleeve.

Dimensions:

Standard 12-inch LP record.
