This two-record gatefold pressing includes Mati Klarwein’s iconic psychedelic artwork and the Columbia red “360 Sound Stereo” labels, characteristic of early U.S. issues. The second album, Tune Up (Prestige P-24077, 1977), is a double-LP compilation highlighting Davis’s early 1950s Prestige sessions. These recordings—featuring Thelonious Monk, Sonny Rollins, Art Blakey, Horace Silver, and Max Roach—capture Davis’s formative years and cool-jazz sensibility. Originally remastered at Fantasy Studios, the album provides a vital window into the pre-Kind of Blue era. Covers exhibit moderate edge and corner wear with light ring impressions and general surface rubbing. Bitches Brew jacket shows mild laminate wear along the spine and edges; inner gatefold clean and intact. Tune Up sleeve displays toning and light scuffing near the lower edge. Vinyl surfaces on both albums show light sleeve scuffs and hairline marks under angled light, retaining good gloss overall; no deep scratches noted. Graded Good+ to Very Good (G+/VG) for play and presentation. Labels remain bright and legible.
