Simmons Wood Futon w/ Coil Mattress – Steel Frame, 6" Thick, Full Size
This is a Simmons-brand wood futon with a full-size convertible steel frame and a 6-inch thick coil spring mattress. The frame features mission-style solid wood arms with a light oak finish and vertical slats. The mattress includes a removable patterned cover in a tan and beige chevron design. Built with a durable metal platform and folding mechanism, this piece functions as both a sofa and a bed.
A practical solution for guests or small spaces, the futon transitions easily between upright and flat positions. The coil mattress provides firmer support than traditional foam-only versions.
Condition
In good used condition. The wood frame shows scratches, UV fading, and finish loss, including four worn areas from contact with the metal frame when laid flat. The mattress has a 1" tear along the lower edge of the cover, as shown in the photos. The futon opens and closes properly, and the removable cover is intact aside from the noted flaw. Overall, functional and presentable with cosmetic wear consistent with regular use.
