Description

Paul Lawrence Signed Photograph — Rock Wall Composition, Oak Frame 1995

Original photograph by Paul Lawrence (American, b. 1941), pencil signed and dated 1995 in the lower right margin. Known for his rich visual documentation of the American West, Lawrence captures a striking section of rock face, with layered earth tones ranging from deep reds and rusts to slate blues. Naturally weathered textures and smooth stones at the base create a compelling interplay of form, color, and light.

Elegantly presented in a solid oak frame, matted and glazed behind glass, this work reflects Lawrence’s lifelong connection to natural landscapes and his expressive approach to photography. Exhibited in group shows such as Unsettled Gallery (Las Cruces, NM).
