Gilbert Tambour Mantel Clock – USA Made, Key Included, Fully Functional

Classic tambour-style mantel clock by William L. Gilbert Clock Company, proudly marked and made in the USA. This early-to-mid 20th century mechanical clock features wood construction with a warm two-tone finish, sweeping curved silhouette, and stylized metal dial with Art Deco numerals. The original paper label remains affixed inside the case, identifying the maker and providing setup instructions.

Equipped with an 8-day mechanical movement, this clock rings out on the hour via dual coiled gongs. It is tested and fully operational, with the original winding key included. The brushed metal face is housed behind a hinged convex glass bezel, bordered in brass. A striking piece for mantel or shelf display, this vintage timekeeper brings both charm and function to any space.

Condition:
In good condition overall and fully functional. The movement has been tested and keeps time properly, striking on the hour. Visible craquelure to the finish and areas of age-appropriate wear along the base and sides, consistent with use. Glass is intact, and the case remains structurally sound.
