Antique Gray Enamelware Coffee Boiler — Wood Handle, c.1900s
Early 20th-century gray enamelware coffee boiler featuring classic mottled graniteware finish over steel construction. This generously sized piece includes a domed lid with knob, a fixed side handle, and a swinging metal bail with a turned wood grip. Likely dating to the 1900s–1920s, the form is typical of utilitarian American kitchenware, with a flared base and deeply tapered spout.
The enamel surface shows age-appropriate wear, but its graphic surface and vintage character make it a standout display piece. Whether used in a farmhouse kitchen, rustic-themed setting, or period reenactment, this boiler offers authentic early Americana charm.
Condition:
In good condition overall with enamel chips, surface scuffing, and oxidation throughout. A pin-sized hole is noted along the bottom rim (see photos). Despite this, the piece displays well and retains structural integrity for decorative use.
Dimensions:
With handles: 14 x 12 x 9.75 inches
Base diameter: approximately 9.75 inches
