Frank Whiting Sterling “Victoria–Florence” Small Fish Serving Fork – 5 7/8”, 28.7 g
Refined sterling silver small fish serving fork in the Victoria–Florence pattern by Frank M. Whiting Co., circa 1905. This ornate design features elegant Rococo-style scrolls and shell motifs along the handle, typical of Whiting’s decorative artistry during the early 20th century. The broad, scalloped tines and delicate piercings are characteristic of fish serving utensils from this line, balancing function with elegance.
Produced by the esteemed New England silversmith Frank Whiting, this pattern—sometimes listed as Victoria (aka Florence)—is prized for its graceful curves and rich detail. The piece is hallmarked with Whiting’s sunburst “W” logo and stamped STERLING.
Condition
In good vintage condition with light surface wear and minor tarnish consistent with age. The pattern detail remains crisp and defined. We’ve chosen to leave the polishing to the buyer’s preference. No dents, bends, or repairs noted.
