Set of 3 Antique Solid Wood Columns – 7’ Architectural Salvage, Early 20th C
A substantial trio of antique solid wood architectural columns, each showcasing classical proportions with rounded shafts, squared plinth bases, and simple molded capitals. These reclaimed columns retain their original layered paint in soft sage green and aged white, exhibiting a richly textured surface patina built over decades. Constructed of solid wood and weighing approximately 70 lbs each, they are consistent with early-20th-century millwork or decorative architectural salvage.
Their weathered finish and honest wear add authentic character, making them ideal for use in design, garden architecture, restoration projects, or interior staging. With impressive height and timeless presence, they bring architectural depth and visual drama to any space.
Condition
Good antique condition overall with visible age and use. Surfaces show scratches, chips, scuffs, and moderate wear consistent with age. Paint layers display natural flaking and distress. One base corner has been chewed or worn down. Structurally sound and stable, retaining an appealing timeworn finish that enhances their decorative and historical charm.
Dimensions: Approx. 86" H × 11" × 11"; top caps 1¾" × 10.5" × 10.5". One column slightly larger at approx. 89.5" H × 15.5" × 15.5".
Weight: Approx. 70 lbs each.
