Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver & Turquoise Cluster Earrings – 6.44g
Vintage Navajo sterling silver turquoise cluster earrings, each featuring eighteen round cabochon turquoise stones (approx. 2 mm) individually bezel set in a circular drop design. The stones range naturally in hue from sky to green-blue, arranged around a raised center in traditional cluster formation. Each earring is hand-wrought in solid, tested sterling silver with fine crescent and arc stampwork typical of Navajo silversmithing. The drops are suspended from post backs via short silver chain links, giving them subtle, graceful movement when worn.
This design represents classic mid-20th-century Navajo craftsmanship—characterized by bold silverwork, slightly varied turquoise tones, and organic stone settings. The cluster motif, while also used by Zuni artisans, here exhibits the heavier bezeling and stamped silver detailing more closely associated with Navajo makers.
