Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver & Royston Turquoise Pendant
This vintage Navajo pendant is handcrafted in sterling silver and set with a fine natural Royston turquoise cabochon accented by a carved claw element. The silverwork features hand-cut feathers, applied beads, and traditional stamp detailing, framed by a softly aged patina that enhances the sculptural quality of the piece. The design exemplifies the balance of texture, symbolism, and natural beauty found in classic Navajo jewelry.
The turquoise exhibits the characteristic blue-green tone and tan matrix associated with Royston stones from Nevada, prized for their striking color variation and earthy warmth. Signed on the reverse with an “H” over crescent hallmark. The closed bail allows easy wear on medium or large silver chains.
Condition
Good vintage condition, showing light surface wear and oxidation consistent with age. The Royston turquoise stone is secure in its bezel setting and free of damage. We’ll leave the polishing to you to preserve its original patina and authentic vintage character.
