Vintage Kennedy Manufacturing Co. machinist’s tool chest, Style No. 520-9267, made in Van Wert, Ohio, USA. Constructed of heavy-gauge steel with the signature brown wrinkle finish, brass-plated latches, and molded brown handle. The top lift compartment and six ball-bearing drawers are felt-lined and concealed by a drop-front door. Marked with the original Kennedy logo on the lid and the interior maker’s tag.
Part of Kennedy’s celebrated 520 series, this model represents the company’s mid-century craftsmanship—renowned for its precision fit, smooth drawer action, and longevity.
