Beautiful pair of vintage Japanese cloisonné enamel plates featuring delicate plum blossom branches and small songbirds against a rich green guilloché ground. The design is bordered by a scalloped blue rim and finished in gilt bronze, demonstrating the refined craftsmanship typical of mid-20th-century Japanese cloisonné work. The reverse is enameled in turquoise with a stylized floral pattern and retains an old inventory label marked “5701 VRR No. 8-2226.”
A charming and well-balanced decorative pair, ideal for collectors of Asian art or refined interior display.
