Kralik-Style Iridescent Art Glass Vase, Hand Blown, 24.75"
Striking iridescent art glass vase in the manner of Wilhelm Kralik Sohn. Hand blown with an elongated neck and teardrop-shaped body, the vase features a distinctive crackle and applied thread design “Web” or “Crackle” décors. Its lustrous surface radiates shifting tones of rose, gold, and lavender with opalescent highlights that shimmer under light.
The base exhibits a rough pontil mark, attesting to its handmade origin. Comparable examples are found in museum and private collections of early Bohemian art glass. A superb decorative statement piece that captures the elegance and innovation of the Art Nouveau era.
Condition
Good overall condition with light shelf wear to the base. No chips, cracks, or repairs observed. The iridescent surface remains vibrant, showing subtle bubbles and tool marks consistent with hand-blown production.
