Terri Dennis Petroglyph Abstract Form Textured Wall Sculpture
Original wall sculpture by Terri Dennis, titled “Petroglyph Abstract Form” and signed verso ’04. This richly textured piece showcases the artist’s signature technique inspired by ancient rock carvings and desert petroglyphs. The surface is deeply sculpted and layered with earthy tones of sienna and umber, forming abstract anthropomorphic and geometric motifs.
A fine example of Dennis’s later work, this piece reflects her ongoing exploration of ancient symbolism and natural materials. Known for her wall sculptures rooted in primitive art forms, the Phoenix-based artist created each piece through a complex, multi-step texturing process to emulate the look and feel of carved stone.
